I am teaching myself to embroider. Many women and men in my family embroidered; therefore, it is important to me that I keep the tradition alive. I’m taking a more modern approach for some projects and creating my own designs as I go. My ultimate project, which I hope to start this year/summer is to embroider and sew an authentic 18th century stomacher. But for now, here are some pictures to show off my handiwork.
