Today, upon waking at 7, the outside temperature was around 33 F. Wisconsin has been steamy for the past 3 months and suddenly, my body dropped to hibernation mode. Currently, I sit under a fleecy blanket on my couch with a computer on my lap while the goofy cat plays outside among leaves and walnuts. Her choice. I’d rather not, thank you. I always wonder, is it something about seeing the leaves change that makes us shiver and constantly crave hot cocoa/tea/coffee? Or is it something more primal that when the seasons change, our body naturally freaks out?
